Covid-19 is back with a vengeance and the state of Florida is ground zero for the pandemic surge. One out of every 2000 Floridians has been hospitalized with the virus, but the state’s Governor Ron DeSantis is more concerned with playing to his MAGA followers than the well-being of Florida’s residents. He has refused to mandate masks in schools despite the fact that Florida’s school age children are now a key target of the Covid-19 virus. European papers are calling DeSantis “The Pied Piper leading [Florida] off a cliff.” While he should have done it sooner President Biden finally chastised DeSantis telling Republican governors “to get out of the way” of increased state measures to curb the Covid-19 pandemic. And on another front, an investigation into Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo found that he sexually harassed multiple current and former state government employees, announced state Attorney General Letitia James. Will Cuomo resign or face impeachment? Time will tell. And what about Conman Trump’s attempted coup? There’s more news on that front. Let’s get started.

Candidate Biden promised to unite the country, Republicans, despite the fact that their leader was impeached a second time for his role in the assault on the American Capitol and run out of town in shame, appear to want to continue to sow division, seemingly willing to do anything to stop President Biden’s efforts at unification, enacting his agenda, taking control of the Covid19 Pandemic, bringing the country back to fiscal order. And what of the second trial of the former president? There’s a lot to dissect. Here we go.
