Malachy was a bon vivant actor, talk show host, saloon owner — he practically invented the singles bar; was a pioneer in talk radio, a soap opera star, a best-selling author and a gold smuggler and he was once a candidate for governor of the state of New York. Known as a professional Irishman, he was a regular on the Tonight Show. Now he is the last of Angela’s children, the others long dead and gone.
